ADELYN TORRES
Associate Attorney
Adelyn Torres was born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley. She attended the University of Texas-Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV), where she received her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Communication. Adelyn then moved to Houston, where she attended and graduated from Thurgood Marshall School of Law.
While in law school, Adelyn worked as a student attorney with the Innocence Project, where she reviewed and pursued claims of actual innocence. After law school, Adelyn worked as a civil attorney in Houston. She began to handle numerous civil cases, including matters involving motor vehicle accidents, products liability, premises liability, DTPA, breach of contract, wrongful death actions, and guardianship and probate.
Adelyn then became an Assistant District Attorney in Harris County, where she prosecuted many criminal cases, both on the misdemeanor and felony levels. This opportunity allowed Adelyn to become a better trial attorney, as she assisted and prepared for many trials and oral hearings/arguments.
Adelyn brings with her a broad range of experience in handling both civil and criminal matters. She has extensive experience in trial preparation, witness preparation, discovery, mediations, depositions, drafting and preparing complex pleadings and motions, and negotiating settlements. Adelyn has a clients-first approach and strives to provide quality legal representation during every phase of a case.
Adelyn is very family oriented, and when she is not practicing law, she loves to spend time with her three dogs and her family. She is also a huge sports fan and loves to try new restaurants and food.
